Helga Treiber is a senior consultant with CyTRAP Labs GmbH. The company provides corporate governance support and social media monitoring to organizations worldwide.

Dr. Helga Treiber brings more than 15 years of experience in dealing with European projects specialising in:
- project management,
- science communication, and
- socio-economic research and methodologies.
Based in France and in Brussels, she has been involved in numerous projects and studies dealing with advanced information and communication services for special user groups, with assessing socio-economic impact of ICT projects and with communication of science to non-scientific audiences.
In the past, she was involved in the feasibility study for CASEScontact – the Information Security Portal for Europeans.
She is regularly invited by the European Commission to act as an expert evaluator of proposals submitted for funding. Recently, she has been a featured speaker in several seminars teaching FP 7 proposal writing and project management.
Her educational background is in social science. She holds a graudate degree in economics and a PhD in political science.from the University of Mannheim.
Besides German, she is fluent in English and French.
