Matthias Nöster is senior analyst with CyTRAP Labs GmbH. The company provides corporate governance support and social media monitoring to organizations worldwide.

Matthias Nöster brings 6 years of experience as consultant to the telecoms industry and high technology firms
He specializes in information society issues and information technology start-ups. Specifically, he brings in his knowledge in the areas of:
- corporate strategy,
- R&D and innovation management,
- telecoms & technology,
- regulatory issues in Internet technology markets.
Based in Vienna, Matthias has been involved in several projects dealing with telecoms technology including the voice over IP start-up “quipcom.”
Matthias was a team member in several European projects, such as ASP-Net. He has also worked and liaised with major industry associations including but not limited to EICTA and Comp TIA.
He did his undergraduate and graduate studies in economics and finance at the University of Vienna. Matthias also holds an MBA certificate from the United Business Institutes in Brussels.
Besides his native German, he is fluent in English and French.
